The purpose of my website is to share Christian devotionals and stories of inspiration. Writing has been my passion since I was a teenager. In moments of hurt from life, in moments of joy, or in moments of gratitude, I turn again and again to writing. Eric Liddell, whose life and athletic accomplishments were portrayed in the movie Chariots of Fire, said, “When I run, I feel God’s pleasure.”  I understand that feeling.  Recognizing that writing is a gift from God, I feel that same sense of His pleasure when I sit down to write. Words fascinate me. They are always rolling around in my head, joining together to form a story or taking me into imaginary places I could never go otherwise. I move into a circumstance and there it is! I see an idea or I hear a conversation, and I cannot let it go until I bring my thoughts into a sentence or paragraph. Writing is my psychiatrist, my therapist, my counselor and my dear friend. When I get lost in writing, I find myself, the one I was created to be. I become completely content.
